SYRACUSE – EDUCATIONAL/SCHOLASTIC TOURISM
Syracuse is an ideal school destination for all levels of education, from kindergarten to high school.
During the full day tour, students will be able to immerse themselves in the local reality and learn about the various aspects that characterize the city: not only archeology, history and culture but also crafts, religious cults and food and wine. The visit to Syracuse will therefore prove to be a very practical and useful on-site training tool not only for students, but also for teachers in carrying out teaching.
The full day tour can be customized according to the requests and needs of the teachers by choosing from a selection of routes, combining even more itineraries:
– Archaeological Park of Neapolis and Papyrus Oasis (Papyrus paper production laboratory)
– Classical Ortigia
– Medieval Ortigia: Bellomo Museum and Maniace Castle
– “Paolo Orsi” Archaeological Museum
– Religious-educational tour: Catacombs of San Giovanni, Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Lacrime, Monumental complex of Santa Lucia Extramoenia
– Noto and the Tellaro Valley
– Archaeological-naturalistic excursions: Fonte Ciane, Pantalica, Vendicari
