PAPYRUS EXPERIENCE
The Walking tour along the Ciane River and the visit to the Museum of Rural Life among nature, papyrus and legends:
Starting from the spring called Testa Pisima, the guide will accompany you along the Ciane, in an enchanted atmosphere where nature blends with myth.
Walking through paths surrounded by a dense vegetation rich in scents and colors, you will have the opportunity to admire the only colony of Cyperus Papyrus in Europe. The guide will lead you inside the Masseria Papyrus where you will see an explanation of the papyrus paper’s production methodology.
A visit to the Museum of Rural Life is also included. Characterized by an unique style, the Museum is full with objects of everyday usage in the past and historic furnishings. You will enjoy the atmosphere of the rural Sicily between the nineteenth and twentieth century.
